Kingston Road ymca

The YMCA of Greater Toronto has determined that the East City YMCA, located near Kingston Road and Victoria Park Avenue, is not currently maximizing its potential in program offerings. So that we can better serve this community, we are demolishing the existing building and constructing a 24- 30,000 sq. ft. facility in its space. Built to LEED (leadership in environmental and energy design) building standards, this Centre of Community will include a revitalized gymnasium, a pilates studio, strength and conditioning areas, and spaces for youth and community programs.

Statistics show that this neighbourhood has high rates of youth unemployment and inactivity. This new YMCA Centre of Community will offer programs and services to help combat these issues and provide opportunity for growth and community involvement.
